Privacy Policy

Leer en espaƱol

Effective date: November 1, 2026

BrotherLakesBibleBus.com (the "Site") is run by JPL Group LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("we," "us"). Brother Lake's Bible Bus is a Brother Lake Ministries program, produced by Brother Lake Studios, a division of JPL Group LLC. This policy explains, in plain words, what happens to information when you visit the Site or buy from us.

The short version

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Our content is made for families with young children, but purchases are made by parents and other adults. We follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the FTC's COPPA Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 312), including its 2025 updates.

We do not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from children under 13. "Personal information" includes things like a name, address, email, phone number, photo, video, or voice recording, location, persistent identifiers used to track a person over time and across sites, government ID numbers, and biometric information. The Site gives children no way to submit this information, and we do not sell or share children's information with anyone.

If you are a parent and believe your child has sent us personal information, contact us at jplgroup721@gmail.com. We will delete it promptly.

Purchases (Payhip and Square)

Our PDF downloads are sold through Payhip, an online store and checkout service, and card payments are processed by Square. When an adult buys from us, Payhip and Square collect the information needed to complete the order, such as name, email address, billing details, country or location (used to calculate tax), and payment card details.

Payhip and Square handle information under their own privacy policies:
- Payhip Privacy and Cookies Policy: https://payhip.com/privacy
- Square Privacy Notice for buyers (users without a Square account): https://squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy-no-account

Amazon

Our paperback and Kindle editions are sold by Amazon. We only link to them. Amazon collects information under its own privacy policy, not ours.

YouTube videos

Videos on the Site are embedded from YouTube in "privacy-enhanced mode" (youtube-nocookie.com). This mode limits what YouTube collects before a video is played. However, once a video is played, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect information under Google's privacy policy. Parents may prefer to start videos for their children.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our web host may automatically record basic technical information when the Site is visited, such as browser and device type, pages viewed, date and time, the referring website, and an IP address. This is used only to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and fix problems. It is not used to identify anyone, build profiles, or show ads, and it is kept only as long as reasonably needed.

If we use analytics, we use them only to see overall, combined numbers. We do not use them to identify or track individual visitors, and advertising features are off. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. The Site may use small technical cookies needed for it to work.

Email to us

If a parent or other adult emails us, we use the email address and message only to reply. We do not share it or add it to a mailing list. Please do not let children email us.

Other websites

The Site links to YouTube, X, TikTok, Amazon, and, later, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. When you click a link, you leave our Site, and that company's own privacy policy and terms apply. We encourage parents to review those policies and supervise children on those sites.

Keeping information safe

We collect very little and take reasonable steps to protect what we receive.

Questions, review, or deletion

Parents and buyers can contact us any time with questions, to ask what information (if any) we have, or to ask us to delete it:

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. If we ever wanted to collect personal information from children, we would first change this policy and get verifiable parental consent as the law requires.
